The Haslemere Guide is owned, managed and produced by Judith Murray. A former teacher, Judith entered the publishing world in 2005, and produced the first edition of the Guide single-handed in just three months.

We believe passionately in maintaining a vibrant local economy, in which people use the shops, trades and services on their doorstep. We produce The Guide as a way for local businesses to reach their customers directly and cost-effectively.

As a small business ourselves, we understand exactly what our advertisers want and need from us – and unlike a large publishing firm, we’re able to stay close to our customers, and respond quickly to their changing requirements.
